About Trace

Who Is Trace Holloway?

Raised on government cheese. Forged in backwoods and bad breaks. Saved by songs that meant something.

Trace Holloway was born to a big, poor family in the backwoods of North Florida. No air conditioning. No silver spoons. Just livestock, FFA, 4-H, and the kind of hard lessons you can’t teach in a classroom.

His grandfather fought in Europe during World War II. His father and uncles served in Vietnam. Two of his brothers served in Iraq. None of them ever spoke much about it — but Trace carries that silence like a flag.

After a childhood full of mucking stalls, judging chickens, and butchering pigs to feed a family of eight, Trace moved to rural Nevada — where the only things louder than the engines were the trouble. Tattoos came. So did heartbreak, run-ins with the law, and too many friends lost to the bottle.

Somehow, he came through.

Now, he’s turning all of that pain, pride, and fire into music.
Country music — the kind that still means something.
